Family was over. Ice cream sandwiches in hand. It felt casual at first, almost like any other get-together.
Then the light started to change.
The temperature dropped. The sky dimmed in a way that didn’t feel like sunset. It felt wrong. The birds went silent. Night sounds crept in. For a few minutes, it didn’t feel like afternoon anymore.
When totality hit, everything paused. The sun reduced to a black circle, surrounded by a clean halo of light. You could see solar flares licking off the edge. It felt bigger than life, but at the same time it was happening right over our heads.
Then it passed.
The birds came back. Day sounds returned. People started talking again. But for those few minutes, the world shifted.
Each Totality print is released as a Legacy edition and is printed by me personally. I handle every step, from preparing the file to final tonal adjustments, to preserve the depth of the corona and the precision of that moment exactly as it appeared in the sky.
