I photographed this through the window while driving through redwood country. The light was breaking through the trees, sending beams across the haze and into the forest below. This view came along during the drive, and it became a photograph I kept coming back to.
The title describes how the image feels to me. There is something about the towering trees and the light between them that makes everything else feel a little less urgent. Even looking at it afterward, I want to pause.
